Day 1 in Chiang Mai / Kids Thai Fight - Day 4 Part I
On our first day in Chiang Mai, we were visiting a Thai Boxing Event. The first fight was a fight between some youngsters. Although people in the west could think it is awkward to see children fight, in Thailand it is normal and a big honor for the kids to represent their fighting school.
After a hard fight, finally they found a winner!
I'm not sure, this doesn't look healthy for them :(
You can be sure, they do well ;-)
I think that it is good for them to learn young, but not do too much harm to their body. It gives them the chance to experience a real fight.
Yeah, and way more than that. They learn discipline and respect.
