It is only a bad word if you were the ruling elite.
No rulers is THE WORST state things could be in, if you are a ruler.
In chinese, a curse is "may you be born in interesting times".
Because interesting times are all about change, and new information, new ways of being. All the rules get changed. Not comfortable. Not quiet.
Indeed, our language is one of the greatest molders of reality, and as an anarchist I live with a 'no masters, no slaves' philosophy.

Many people do not want to get rid of bosses, they just dream of their time when they get to be the boss.
Everyone wants to be rich, not realizing that if everyone is rich, no one is rich.
Everyone has that dream of being rich... mostly to just hold it over their friends.
