The Benefits Of Walking. Boosting you mind, body and soul.

Hi there fellow steemians! Today I wanna speak about this simple thing we all know but don't appreciate enough, or even understand the benefits of it. Walking...

Walking helps us to get away from pain and open our minds, clarify ideas and get out of everyday routine.
It is a simple, but freeing gesture on a personal level, both physically and psychologically.
Walking, or some other physical activity, moves us on a daily basis and helps us to have a productive and satisfying emotional life. Walking, for example, can be beneficial to move away from the negative state of mind, which limits the ability to leave the depressed state.
One of the best "drugs" for depressed or anxious brains, as well as for a tired, unstable and painful body, is the habit of walking for at least an hour every day.
Wherever possible, walks should be outside, because peace and contact with nature help us to separate from anger and establish a peaceful contact with our emotions and our thoughts.

Our mind and our body "have a hard life" because of the routine and stress we are exposed to daily. So, because of lack of exercise, our brain becomes slower, heavier, lazy, depressed and more disturbed. Then we begin to notice that we forget things, that we do not have the will to change something to get out of our everyday life, that no activity is so interesting and satisfying as a holiday on the couch in our living room.

Walking is a symbol of personal and mental liberation, "balanced acceleration" of our mind and contact with new stimulus that can be rewarded. Thanks to walking, we provide the opportunity to relativise our problems and to get in touch with our deepest self, the part of which we do not pay attention to in the vortex of everyday life. For all these reason, the best recipe for improving consciousness is walking! If you have not tried yet, do it, and if you already know the benefits, never stop doing this valuable physical activity and start sharing the benefits.

Now go out to your nearest forest and take a stroll, revitalize, come back and tell me how do you feel :)

I love walking in Wales, so many mountains, valleys and natural lakes.

Have you ever tried walking barefoot for a long period? It's meant to be very invigorating for the body and mind.

Wales looks magnificent! I grew up barefoot, and like to spend time over the summer by the river near my hometown in a cabin, no shoes needed. Indeed invigorating :)

I love walking and try to get my 10,000 steps a day.
