While watering the Aloe Vera(Aloe barbadensis) plants I noticed a dominant male Brown anole(Anolis sagrei) I endearingly gave the moniker "Stubby." Stubby was catching some evening rays for residual warmth and a few winks of shuteye before sundown. We see each other so often from day to day that he doesn't pay me much mind even when I get right up in his face like for this shot. We're alright...Stubby and I.
