1 Year

This will be a rambling freewrite because if i try to think about how will this look like i will never finish it.

I discovered steem few weeks earlier from ben von wong (unfortunately he did not last long, he is still doing great stuff but not on this network). It was a long two weeks wait and as i never wrote blogs i was planing how to start with a good one. Also confused about wallets, exchanges, and all that weird crypto stuff and thinking is this really working, can you transfer Steem to Dinar? Ignorant about whales, bots, price of 5$ per steem, looking on the trending page i thought i could make some money here. And in all that enthusiasm i made this:

Checking the post now i just realised that one of my first votes on it was from @jasonrussell, thanks for the support man, and i am happy that you are still here.

I did not really got the wealth that i was hoping for, and that was advertised :) but with my second post after discovering @dtube posting something that i thought is great and getting like 5 views (yes i think @dtube had views then and yes dtube is still ignoring me most of the times :) ) and 0$ i realized that it will need a lot of work and that this is not get rich here and now thing (well i kinda knew it, but man can dream? :D)

The thing that kept me here is the great photo community. In that first few weeks i stumbled upon @derekkind and his witty comments :D (he is a good photographer to :) ) and that led me to @photogames. I know that it is worn out phrase but community in photogames made me think about that "came for the money staid for people" phrase. And that few months were really great and got me checking steem all the time. Learned a lot about crypto there also. The idea of @steempeak was born there with @jarvie need to access all kind of crazy stats and @asgarth mentioning that he is coding something. Contests died out as some of the people started doing some important things on the chain but i do have to admit that i am still checking from time to time did some of the people that stopped posting did not come back.

I think exchanging some comments with @soyrosa i realised that all this has a feeling of old mIRC times in my dial-up internet era when you really known no one but had the feeling of knowing them all for ages.

I need to stop this rumble because it has no start end or any sense :D

I did not mention a lot of people and communities and they have every right to be offended and expres that in the comments :D
