UCL Review: The former European King: Won 0-7

The season awaited by Liverpool fans has arrived. After failing to return to the Champions League because of losing to Sevilla in the final of the European Cup in 2015/2016 season, this year the Reds return to the prestigious event in Europe.

The 4th position in the Premier League last season gave them a chance to follow the play-off against Hoffenheim. Jürgen Klopp also made it through the first hurdle and lead Liverpool back to the most prestigious event among European clubs.

Owners of five Champions League trophies, in this 2017/2018 season, get a pretty good group. Among his opponents in the group, who might be able to tackle Klopp's son is Sevilla and has been proven with the results of the series they can in the inaugural match.

Against Spartak Moscow in the second game, supporters of the Reds would expect their last victory on September 16, 2014, which at that time faced Ludogorets. However, they actually re-series in the game.

The former ruler was finally won after a long absence in the Champions League. The former struggle is certainly far away considering this is still the group stage. Will they regain the land of Europe?

Next up for Liverpool is a tough trip to Wembley to take on Tottenham on Sunday, and the Reds head to the capital full of confidence after a record-breaking European night.
