Does the PSG have its place in France? (Part1)

Although the title may appear at first glance a little targeted, see violent towards this club.
If we think about the position of Paris Saint-Germain in French football today, many questions arise.
This article is not intended to criticize the club, but rather to have a reflection on modern football in France and elsewhere.

Historically PSG was what?

Since the creation of the PSG in 1970 (merger between the Paris football club and Stade Saint-Germain), the professional club has climbed the ladder generation after generation.
I could not tell you about PSG before the 90s, because it would only copy and paste what is on the Net.
My love of football started in 82 with the World Cup, but remained at the level of the national teams and continued for the world 86 and god Maradona.
I was really interested in Division 1 (now League 1) only a few years later, during the 89/90 season.
Marseille and Bordeaux dominated division 1, followed by Monaco, Sochaux and PSG 5th.
The years that followed, Marseille and Monaco remained at the top of the ranking.
PSG won the title in 92/93 when it was only second in the championship, Marseille being 1st, but removed from its title for problems.

The Canal + era brings stability to PSG with great players and an effective football.

It's the time of Weah, Valdo, Ricardo, Rai, Ginola, Lama.
In 1996, the PSG won the cup.
The next few years alternated between the good and the bad, until the arrival of an economic force that completely changed things.

70% of psg shares are bought by the QIA, thus becoming free to run the club. The club strengthens itself in every position by buying players, and quickly becomes the most impressive team on paper.

In 2013, the PSG wins the title in league 1, it's the beginning of an overwhelming series.
Many titles and trophies were won until today.
It lacks now only the C1, main target of the QIA to finalize their projects of implantation in the European football.

The psg and the others …..

There was the Stade de Reims, ASSE, OM, then the Lyon period.
The French Championship has experienced sports domination throughout its history.
But never before has a club experienced an economic power superior to what the PSG lives today.
At the time, the teams that dominated a period through a construction phase of several years.
Winner of the titles which increased their budgets and their recruitments.
If we take OM, Jpp was a good player, but had not proved anything at the very highest levels ye

Just like waddle or mozer, Boli, etc. But by their associations and work, they became the team that defeated the AC Milan (the reference of the time), then a few years later, which won the supreme European title .

The OL thanks to its president, played on the formation and also created an economic structure which allowed to win 7 titles of champions of France of affines (record in progress).
The star players of Lyon, was a good footballer who associate became a great team. Govou, Malouda, Coupet, Cree, Juninho, Benzema, Essien, etc.
These teams at the time could never have bought the top European players.
The PSG to buy from millions of players for this creates a top European team.
The financial structure was brought and radically changed the Paris Club.
A team built by money and not by work.

Conclusion of this first part

Whether we like PSG or not, so far this team is pleased to see play.
Seeing players like Ibra or Neymar in league 1 was just inconceivable before that.

But the purpose of this article is not to criticize in a negative way what the PSG does today, but rather to ask questions about what exists elsewhere, and are we in France in the extension of modern European football?
I leave you to debate on this point in comment, or on others for that matter.
