A strenght and stamina duel between two highly tactical teams where the winning factor was the player vs player higher level each the english players have over the Swedish ones. This was clear in the first goal where we could see that even with a well situated and formated defense, English Harry Maguire outskilled his defender and with a header beat the goalkeeper Olsen.

The English team kept knocking on the door and, even if the score showed a close game, in reality the Swedish didn´t have many clear chances to score... but neither the English, but at minute 58 DeleAlli found a way in and scored with the head in a play where the Swedish defensive timed wrongly the offside play thus leaving three english players alone against the goalkeeper, if it wasn´t Alli, it would have been someone else who scored, but thaty play would´ve ended in goal.

Sweden was the same of all the tournament: A national team that knows how to defend and how to make the most out of deffensive formations, but also weak against teams that try/do things differently or make a play out of the box, leaving Emil Forsberg and his talent to save them. Sweden says good bye leaving everyone with a good taste and convinced that the Scandinavians are ready to compete and beat any national team in the globe.

We are looking forward to see Sweden play in an Euro cup, that is if the head coach and the players manages to find the key to get better at the transition between midfielders and forwards, where they lack ideas and sinergy; Sweden also needs to get better at making the most out of every play, because they got tired of missing some clear plays that would´ve ended in a score if they were more lethal. It was not only on this game but throughout the competition that it was made very clear that Sweden misses a forward that can secure some goals for them, like Ibrahimovic, but without basing their whole system around him, because it is clear that Sweden plays better without Zlatan, but they also lack contundency.

England will face Croatia in the semifinals in a duel that promises to be one of the most close matches in the world cup, featuring two highly solid defenses with great game level in the sidelines. The english men depend too much on Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling, so we´ll have to see if the Croatian team manages to cover them correctly.

Duelo de fuerza con dos equipos muy tacticos en el que la diferencia la marco el mejor nivel que tiene Inglaterra jugador por jugador, el primer gol de los ingleses lo marco Harry Maguire al minuto 30 en un gran gol de cabeza en el que nada pudo hacer el portero Olsen.

Los ingleses siguieron atacando y aunque el partido fue parejo los suecos no llegaban con claridad, y fue al minuto 58 que Dele Alli marco el segundo gol de Inglaterra también de cabeza llegando solo contra el portero en una jugada donde la defensa croata midió mal la salida para buscar el fuera de lugar y se encontraban tres jugadores ingleses solos contra el portero, si no era Alli, iba a ser alguien mas

Suecia fue el mismo de todo el torneo, una selección que se defiende bien, con orden, pero que si logras hacer una jugada diferente, con desequilibrio, se les rompe el esquema y no logran encontrar la manera de ordenarse de nuevo en el partido, dependieron mucho de lo que pudiera hacer Emil Forsberg y se despiden de esta copa del mundo dejando una buena imagen ante el mundo dejando en claro que pueden competir a cualquier selección.

Genera mucha ilusión lo que podríamos ver en una Eurocopa si Suecia y su entrenador logran mejorar pequeños detalles como la transición de mediocampo hacia los delanteros, o si logran encontrar mas contundencia en el área de definición, pues no solo en este partido si no en toda esta copa del mundo el problema general de Suecia fue la ausencia de un delantero matón como lo es Zlatan Ibrahimovic, sin que basen todo su esquema de juego alrededor de ese delantero aclarando de nuevo que sin Zlatan Suecia juega mucho mejor,

Inglaterra enfrentara a Croacia en la semifinal en un duelo que promete ser muy cerrado enfrentando a dos defensas muy solidas con buen juego por los costados, los ingleses tienen que dejar de depender tanto de Harry Kane y Raheem Sterling, pues si ellos desaparecen del juego Inglaterra depende de una genialidad de algún otro jugador.
