The Steem price is down, the HF-20 caused some disruption, and many Steemers are abandoning their efforts.

But this is surely NOT the end of Steemit. The price has simply followed the dips of other crypto prices. All the strong cryptos will recover, and attain new heights. And Steem is clearly one of the strongest.

And post-fork, Steemit will certainly become a stronger, more resilient, and more vibrant platform.

Many of those who are abandoning Steemit are those who did not bring a lot to the platform. Granted, Steemit should build a large and diverse community, but it can do so without the "shitposts" that do not add any value to the platform.

If the fork weeds out many of those pointless posters, that is a step forwards, not a slide backwards.

Keep doing your great work, both on your blog and in your community. Oh, and keep doing it in the global Steemit community, too!! We need bloggers like you.
