Findings and medical records are usually stored inaccessibly and unmanageably for patients in various health facilities. However, there is hardly any exchange of health data between these health facilities, which causes two problems in particular:

BlockHealth solves this problem with a decentralized data management system using blockchain technology, giving the patient full access and control over his own data. Individual instances of the health sector — a verified “network of experts” — such as a lung specialist, health masseur or the patient’s own family doctor, can be granted read authorizations for the respective data by the patient or BlockHealth user. For example, the physician receives comprehensive data on the basis of which a more precise diagnosis and treatment strategy than before is made possible.
