Blockfolio App, Query to other users?

@blockfolio has replied to several posts regarding data security. To their credit, they gave an excellent detailed response to these concerns.

I think Blockfolio is a great app, and I'd assume with an app with 100k downloads, there must be plenty of Steemers using Blockfolio.
Yes, I've have concerns regarding data privacy on ANY app, as we all should be these days.

for the detailed clarification.
More specifically, I would like to know know how Blockfolio is funded?
As with all apps, they have to get funding somewhere. Many apps are obviously ad funded, but I don't recall seeing ads on Blockfolio.
I'd gladly pay for any great app service if I knew my data was secure. Without knowing a funding source, it leaves speculation to its credibility.
I would appreciate any feedback and constructive opinion from anyone, as we are all share these concerns.
