Blockcloud aims to reinvent the roads on which modern applications drive on. It is a blockchain-based advanced TCP/IP that improves and upgrades the existing Internet. Combining the advantages of blockchain and Future Internet technology, it reconstructs the technology layers below where current blockchain networks and Internet applications operate. Blockcloud serves as the “building block” to provide constant connectivity for dynamic networks. It will provide better mobility, credibility, incentives, security, fairness, and scalability to upper-layer applications. 

The team members are from Princeton, Tsinghua, Peking University, and Huawei, Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent, etc. The team participated in the development of the first international standards for the next-generation Internet in China, have published more than 50 papers in international top academic conferences and periodicals which have been cited more than 300 times worldwide, and have applied for more than 80 patents. In the field of smart home andh wear, we have established a leading company which has raised more than 40 million CNY and has served 8 million users.

Project

Based the roadmap in whitepaper, the Blockcloud team has completed the infrastructure design, and the proofs of POS mechanism, CoDAG algorithm, and online double auction algorithm. The team is now carrying out global roadshow and meetup and building a developer community.

Fundraising of BLOC
