Blockchain against censorship

This post is being written to friends and people inside and out of Steemit.
If you are reading this post through a share on Facebook or Linkedin, know that you are reading a text with some characteristics that I quote below:

• This text will be stored in a Blockchain after 7 days. And no one can edit, remove, or censor it;
• This text goes to a type of social network that also uses a timeline, however, the interest of other people of this social network in it is that will determine whether or not it will be popular;
• I know this because the source code is open-source, auditable, the algorithms are visible on the web;
• If there are enough readers and sufficient interactivity in the texts posted, it is possible and likely to be directly remunerated for the content that is created.
• There is no centralized authority that determines which content will be posted or shown to users. It is a decentralized platform.

If you have been following recent news about the controversies about content continually censored on Facebook and if you paid close attention when Mark Zuckerberg confirmed that Silicon Valley and the mega technology / advertising companies have a left ideological political bias, then you know that the which before seemed a rumor is now confirmed, there is rather censorship to content that is not in the interest of these companies.

Worse than that, they created the so-called fact-checking agencies, where some other communications vehicles surely aligned with these supposedly trustworthy companies would give the verdict on what is true and what lies on the internet.

Censorship has gone from ridicule to a lot of time on radio and television, but now it seems that the internet has come.

Fortunately, history shows that difficult times reveal the best gifts given to people who seek freedom, much financial power in the hands of the few bankers who manipulated the market, brought up Bitcoin.
Now, the power of information in the hands of the big is being challenged through projects like Dtube or even Steemit.

Blockchain was never just about technology, it is much more than that, among other things it is a defense shield against censorship and against dictatorships, it is a weapon in favor of freedom of expression and possibly in favor of all freedoms.
