Exploring DragonChain - The Disney Blockchain solution. With only 1 Homeland Security / FBI Director named 'Bush' On The Team!
For those of us who monitor real liberty and who recognise that much of our problems stem from the pyramid control systems that corporations and governments are based on - it is both alarming and amusing to witness these systems 'borrowing' and using blockchain technology for their own agenda. How do you take a fundamentally decentralised, freedom aware technology and lock it down? No problem, we'll set an FBI Director on it.. Better yet, send one of the Bush boys...
Disney is a group that demonstrates more than many others, the large gap in perception between what we are programmed to think about such groups and how they really are. While many people still see Disney as a magical group of people who bring nothing but joy to children and who never set a foot wrong - simultaneously there are those who view the group as an arm of major mind control of the most evil kind and connect them to the more obvious (and relatively well known) examples such as subliminal placement of words in Disney movies - right through to apparent involvement in MK-Ultra trauma based mind control.
Whatever the truth regarding the extent of evil intent within the Disney group, we can certainly see a clear intent among those running Disney's 'DragonChain' - a blockchain for business uses - which differs greatly from the more decentralised and liberated forms of technology that were originally intended by the creators of blockchain and related ideas.
Is DragonChain really part of Disney?
If we look at the DragonChain website we see that DragonChain became a not for profit and is promoted as open source in a way that appears to differentiate Dragon Chain from Disney as if the two are not connected any more - without actually saying that. Those who remember the way that Microsoft used a similar tactic when releasing the UEFI Bios system that now runs most home computers at the hardware level, may see a repeating pattern. Essentially, Microsoft knew that many people would not want to allow them to define and create the underlying technology that home computers are built on (at the base / hardware level) and so they created the technology in private and then it was presented to the public via an allegedly open group that was not connected to Microsoft as if Microsoft were not involved. The problem was that later analysts found code in the UEFI system that uniquely identified it as originating with Microsoft - blowing their cover.
In any case, the Dragon Chain website doesn't really hide a connection to Disney.
What is Dragon Chain?
Their website describes a blockchain competitor to Ethereum (and EOS) which allows businesses to create proprietary (non transparent) business logic and processes to run on their blockchain. They also speak about facilitating incubation of new ideas and businesses.
There are many who will say that this is fine and is just an extension of how businesses typically operate - which is to some extent true - however, transparency is a major selling point for blockchain tech for a reason - namely that with transparency comes higher integrity and honesty within human interactions.
The Dragon Chain technical documentation is not exactly written with non technical people in mind - in fact, it appears to have been written with only blockchain engineers in mind and even then it doesn't do the best job of explaining what makes it so great. To my non-specialist eye it often appears to be throwing around terms to appear impressive, without really demonstrating it's significant improvements over competitors. This causes me to be a bit suspicious, but I am open to being shown what I am missing here.
An interesting member of the team
If the connection of Disney to this blockchain was not enough to raise the hackles of liberty loving crypto-explorers, their choice of 'advisor' is particularly interesting since he is a previous director of the FBI. Tom Bush is described on his Linked In page as:
As an executive consultant, have worked in business development for major Washington D.C. IT companies assisting as a subject matter expert and in business development support for opportunities regarding the FBI, DOJ, DoD,and DHS
It was at this time, in 1975, that Tom Bush joined the FBI as a fingerprint specialist. In 30 years, he would be put in charge of the division that manages the fingerprint database—the Criminal Justice Information Services Division. But in the early days, he pushed a mail cart filled with fingerprint cards and worked on the floor of the massive repository at FBI Headquarters.

So we have a DHS/FBI Director, specialist in fingerprinting, advising a corporation who is well known to be involved in highly dubious and manipulative psychological operations against children - as they attempt to create a means of creating private blockchains for commercial purposes.
I will leave this here and let you come up with your own thoughts on the subject!
Wishing you well,

Holy shit. That is nasty. i do feel like pumping and dumping it though. Maybe we should set up a group to pump and dump unethical coins!
I'm not sure whether that hurts or hinders them.. maybe your reaction here is evidence for 'all publicity is good publicity' as pumping the disney coin might be seen as evidence of it's value by some and the pump might turn into a launchpad.. :/
yeah whatever. I'm not in a position to influence a pump anyway. I think i'll stay well away form them. Bought POWR a coup[le of days ago. All my coins doing well after the crash blip!
great, ok - mine have mostly recovered too now :)
I had no idea Disney was using blockchain, guess you live and learn, anyways good blog.
agree with the overall thoughts but as an investment strategy in future cryptos its hard to deny disneys market growth
oh well done
STEEMIT will eventually go mainstream and it will be the new Facebook and Twitter and people will be saved from their poverty and will enjoy uncensored freedom to give their news stories around the world.
this is technological post...i appreciate your blog..resteemit..
I like this technology post,,thanks for sharing this post ,,best of luck.
