Trying to understand Blockchain: Questions I need answered.

“The blockchain is an incorruptible digital ledger of economic transactions that can be programmed to record not just financial transactions but virtually everything of value.”-Don & Alex Tapscott, authors Blockchain Revolution (2016) Knowing this definition or the fundamentals of blockchain does not answer some basic questions as to the viability of blockchain in all spheres of life. There have been numerous individuals and companies (startups) developing different products using Blockchain technology and the first question that comes to mind is "Can blockchain be applied for everything?" or "Should it be used for everything?". I ask this question because several products are being built on blockchain that you would usually not expect and they range from products in Agriculture, renewable energy, banking, marketing, medicine and even the porn industry. Another question that comes to mind is " what conditions should you consider before try to implement blockchain in your products or services?".

It would be of immense help if bloggers people with an in depth knowledge of this topic can explain or provide us with materials with explains about it's uses and potential uses of blockchain.
