Blockchain technologies have gained enough attention now with massive participation, we all really like it for its decentralised and peer to peer core/structure which begun with Satoshi Nakamoto's bitcoin which most people missed in 2009, but have been vigilant to partake in upcoming ones especially in 2017.
Its pretty interesting how this technology now is being diversified by developers from payment systems as bitcoin to several other interesting and innovative platforms like social media eg. Steemit, gaming, cloud storage etc. making it attract more contributors and investors during an ICO, wonderful.

Now there's these ones also I came across while browsing lists of ICO's which I find as very innovative, to cut down on wastage and generate financial rewards, and that's the A2P (Application to Person), based on blockchain. These are the ones I have come accross https://smschain.org and https://www.birdchain.io .

A2P is a type of SMS sent from an application to a person/subscriber or a person/subscriber to an application and the its market is expected to grow 70 billion USD by 2020. It is used by financial institutions, airlines, hotel booking sites, social networks, and other organizations to send SMS from their systems to customers, and this blockchain offer you the opportunity to sell your unused or remaining SMS's to a Telco/SMS Aggregator via the app which offers a reliable interconnected platform between the Telecom companies for a reward, rather than it getting expired. Am sure most of us do buy mobile bundles and some come along with SMS which you probably wouldn't use, because of instant messaging apps eg. WhatsApp, Telegram etc. and that now makes it a great chance to exchange them for money by installing this A2P apps on your device to become a unit on the network.

Now I want to see this innovation taken to the next level, to take into consideration mobile internet data. I've had countless times where my Telco offer me free data to browse Facebook or YouTube etc. to expire just on the next day but still goes unused which I could have given out locally or internationally for a token.
This is the next innovation we should get/win from our Blockchain developers to see Blockchain Technology completely decentralize our society or the economy at large to allow the forces of demand and supply to operate effectively.
