The New Spokesperson of Blockchain Technology - [blockchain][technology][consensus]
- The New Face of Blockchain -
Yesterday I was luckily watching the live feed provided by @crypt0 from Consensus New York 2018. Well, actually, Crypt0 is in New York for the Consensus conference that starts this coming Monday, so the live stream I was watching was actually from the Ethereal Summit Day 1 in New York.
Sadly, when I did join the live stream I was actually very late, and had missed Vansa Chatikkavanij, Managing Director of Omisego, give here Ethereal Summit talk. Since I am highly interested in OMG's technology and blockchain business, missing this persons knowledgeable information directly from the company was deflating. Luckily Crypt0 always provides interesting news and information about the goings on in the crypto-world. And he was doing exactly that during the intersession between speakers which fortunately kept me watching.
As the live feed pans over away from Crypt0 and his guest over to the center stage, the M.C. begins to introduce the next guest, Amber Baldet, former Blockchain Program Lead at JP Morgan. Out steps a very young woman with pony tails, tattoos and a dress. She greets and introduces herself, explaining that she is no longer affiliated with JP Morgan as of very recent, therefore she would not be speaking on Quorum. Instead she would be speaking on her knowledge from working with financial institutions, start ups, Fortune 100's, cypherpunks, cryptographers and what is happening in the Blockchain space.
Did she just say would talk about cypherpunks and blockchain?
Now I was hooked and so will you be too if you are into Bitcoin, Ethereum, cryptography and most importantly the Blockchain space.

And to the guy near the end of the talk during the Q and A, you wasted your question and chance to ask something relevant about the Blockchain space from someone that is at the forefront of this burgeoning industry by asking "If she couldn't speak any faster?" She spoke extremely well given that she probably had to re-work her talk since departing from JP Morgan, and she introduced some very relevant points and concepts about blockchain that will be of topic more and more.

wow. tickets are quite expensive you know. i think i'll stick with the online streaming. at least i wouldn't mind spending money on data for this priceless lessons. thanks for sharing my friend
