Blockchain is not About Getting Rich!

It makes me sad, very sad, everytime I go to any of the Blockchain chatrooms I belong to, and all I see them talking about is Bitcoin market cap, pricing, and trading.

You guys are missing the point. This whole crypto and blockchain revolution is about decentralizing the world and increase trust within humanity! The conversations should be about the technology that supports it and not about how to get rich with it.

Yes, I own cryptocurrencies myself, but I buy them with no intentions of selling it. My goal is that one day I can go to the movies, buy a hat, pay for my children's education, with the same coins (i.e Bitcoin or Litecoin) that I bought, with no intervention from banks and financial institutions; or buy a house with an Ethereum Contract, no realtor or fees involved.

Learning the technologies, supporting the blockchain community, and designing the next generation of decentralized applications and institutions should be the main focus in years to come, to ensure that our children could live in a world of trust and freedom.
