Neblio has finished its all 2017 deliverables a month ahead of the schedule. I am very excited with the team’s performance and their sheer determination towards Neblio’s vision making blockchain simple for enterprise applications .
After successful ICO in mid Aug 2017, team has released its own block chain (POS consensus algorithm based), windows/Mac/android/electrum light wallets. Currently IOS wallet is in Apple purgatory 😂 and integration of Neblio on nano ledger is in progress. Raspberry PI wallet was released with a simplified installation process which requires only a single line command to run the wallet (life savior for non-technical people).Most of these are not a big deal as some of them are forked from existing projects, but what makes it an undervalued project is the interesting part.
The recent development update (read full report here https://nebl.io/2017/12/03/neblio-development-update-3/#start) announced the release of Neblio Docker container, which allows businesses and enterprises across the globe to transform the applications running in their data centers and cloud platforms. Neblio Docker container allows anyone to deploy a fully functional Neblio Node that is fully-synced just with a single command. For the easy deployment of Nodes, Neblio introduced an innovative new feature called "Neblio Quick Sync" specifically designed for Neblio Docker container. It ensures that when the Node is first deployed syncing the blocks takes only few seconds.

Why is it important to complete the syncing blocks in seconds?

No blockchain platform that asks customers to wait weeks, days, or even hours for a new full node to sync after deployment will ever gain adoption in the enterprise world. (Did you remember downloading NEO GUI wallet designed for redpulse ICO, it was a pain in the neck to sync the whole block chain which took several days). Thanks to “Neblio Quick Sync”, which reduces the sync time from days to seconds. Neblio QuickSync is an innovative new feature for Neblio Nodes launching first in Neblio Docker container and coming to Neblio’s other platforms in the coming weeks. Neblio Quicksync packages a highly-compressed copy of the blockchain in every Node download. Why do we need another block chain, when we already have more popular projects like Stratis/Lisk/Neo/Qtm etc?

There is enough room to grow all these platforms side by side as each one of these is aiming at different but not limited to certain geographical markets (Neo is for China, Lisk is based Europe and Neblio is an US based project). What’s cooking for the next few months?

Neblio is also partnering with the world’s largest hyperscaler cloud providers to make Neblio available in more places to offer a blockchain-as-a-service solution. The immediate team’s focus is delivering the Neblio API Suite in 3 phases. Integration of the Neblio REST API Listener into the Neblio Node followed by full API Documentation and Implementation. Finally development of API Library for Each of the 8 Programming Languages (Python, Go, JS, Ruby, .NET, Java, Node.js, C++).

What makes you an intelligent investor?

Many white paper projects in crypto space came up with a structured ICO format to lure immature investors into their projects. The standard structure contains a large team (at least 10+ people) spanning across the globe with fancy Linked In profiles, listing notable block-chain personalities as advisory board (often without their consent), and a designer website. However, Neblio chose to concentrate on product delivery rather creation of hype around the project. As a matter of fact, it raised only 2.5 M USD (500+ BTC) in a 2 weeks spanned ICO and burned all the 112 M unsold tokens. The best part of this ICO is that the founders (Eddy & Ann) also bought their share of Neblio tokens just like any other ICO investors. There were no pre-allocated tokens for founders, advisory members, marketing or product development etc. Currently team consists of two hard working developers round the clock to deliver products ahead of schedule and two marketing members who work behind the scenes to get enterprise customers.
