Introducing Pluto Beta

in #blockchain7 years ago (edited)

Pluto Search is now publicly available with its beta release!
Researchers can quickly skim through intuitive search feeds to find academic articles relevant to their studies. Pluto Search covers a broad range of academic contents, more than 100 million records from more than 1,000 academic journals worldwide. Search feeds are enhanced beyond simple lists of titles, author names and bibliometrics, with comments and evaluations from the community of users.

Intuitive Search Feeds

Begin your search by entering keywords, author names, or journal names of your interest. The results are shown in an intuitive feed with the most significant pieces of information to help you quickly skim through numbers of articles. Metrics like Impact Factor (IF) of the publishing journal, citation counts of the article, or the number of references are shown with the titles, authors, and abstracts of them. Affiliations of authors are shown next to their names as well. (we expect to prove that high IFs don’t necessarily lead to great articles)

“Cited” and “Ref” buttons will open a list of articles on a new page, with articles citing the specific article and articles cited by the specific article respectively. The other features work just as same as the original search feed.

Filter your search results to narrow down more specifically to your interest. Currently the beta supports filters by publishing years and journal IFs. Click on the title to visit the original page from the publishing journals of the articles, and PDF buttons are available for Open Access articles.
