Opporty Updates: December 18–24, 2017
Since we promised to keep our users up-to-date and share what’s new on Opporty every week, we are ready to introduce new updates and features that were released over the past week. Great things are happening every day at Opporty, because we are continuously working towards making Opporty a website that offers top-notch user experience.
Canadian Version of Opporty
Recently we smoothly released the UK version of our website and users have already started joining the platform. Last week, the most significant event was the release of our Canadian Opporty version. In just a couple of days, more than 100+ Canadian companies have joined Opporty. The team is moving closer to achieving its localization goal by targeting new English-speaking markets step by step.
ICO Landing Page Redesign and Updates
Our ICO landing page represents our project as a whole. We would like to make it a place that leaves the best possible impression on our users and visitors. To do so, we are conducting tests and fixing bugs to ensure our landing page seamlessly serves its purpose. Last week the team made the decision to implement a redesign of Opporty’s ICO landing page to give it a fresh look and improve usability.
Our landing page is now available in three languages. English, Russian and Chinese-speaking users are encouraged to check out the ICO landing page in their native language!
Partnership With Bancor
Opporty has established a partnership with Bancor. Bancor Protocol is the standard for the creation of Smart Tokens, cryptocurrencies with built-in convertibility through smart contracts. This partnership means continuous liquidity for OPP tokens, regardless of trade volume and exchange listings. Any holder of the OPP token will be able to convert the token into any other currency that has already joined the Bancor network, directly through popular Web3 wallets.
Decentralized Escrow 1.0 Explanatory Videos
Two weeks ago we released Opporty Decentralized Escrow 1.0. Last week the team created two videos to familiarize our followers and users with the feature and its principles. The two videos explain two cases with opposite outcomes.
The first video describes a case with a dispute that arises between contracting parties. The dispute is resolved by escrow judges in the provider’s favor.
The second video describes a case where the dispute is resolved in the client’s favor.
Hope you enjoy!
