BLOCKCHAIN, TECHNOLOGIES, SKEPTICISM AND EXPONENTIAL GROWTH

I've been researching about blockchain and I want to show these charts extracted from Google Negram Viewer and Google Trends. (An algorithm that uses AI to collect a specific word's appearance in books written throughout the history; times searched in the case of Google Trends). We can somehow see a very similar pattern - that is we human tend to adapt technologies exponentially. (If you want to know more about this phenomenon you can also search "Moore's law" in google).

In titration, the point where the sample is neutralized (pH=7) is called equivalence point. In this case, the pH level can be replaced by “level of skepticism” (the lower the value the more skepticism is present in the society) or “level of excitement” (the higher the value the more excitement is present in the society). The solution to be titrated can be interpreted as “doubt of society”, and the titrant would be “researches and developments”. We know that between a transparent and a colored solution is a difference of 1 or 2 drops of titrant. Similar situation happens here; it only requires one or two key events in order to enable that exponential growth. Blockchain already did it when we realized that data is the new gold and it should be decentralized, instead of concentrating them in few organizations such as the government, Facebook, or Google. I think after blockchain is matured, it will enable an exponential growth in machine learning and artificial intelligence because Smart Contract (Computer protocol that ensures if “X” happens, “Y” must happen.) will change human-machine and machine-machine interactions to a more controlled and predictable manner. With blockchain, AI can now gather every bit generated by human more easily. And please remember, to solve an equation you need data. And by mass analyzing those data, we can improve our life here on earth drastically. (For example, if “X” caused “Y” changes (this can be positive or negative) during “Z” time, what “X” should be to cause “2*Y” changes in “Z” time). Imagine that there will be an algorithm running 24/7 gathering all the data from factories around the world and its goal is to decrease our carbon footprint. We can just code that algorithm in such way that what “X” should be in order to achieve “Y/2” in “Z” time. (with Y being the previous year’s CO2 Level). And hopefully Smart Contract will prevent the AI from becoming the “Skynet”. Today more than ever, is the best time to be alive. Blockchian will help to distribute opportunities to developing and underdeveloped countries where corrupted governments will have less impact in the communities because you no longer need them to be that middle man.

Once again, as a civilization we proved that skepticism is not our enemy, but stubbornness is. Skepticism it’s necessary for us to prove new concepts and ideas. Here I want to spread the words about how this is changing the world so that more people would be aware of this technology and to accelerate the adoption of this technology in different industries.

I wonder what would be the next one. Artificial Intelligence(AI)? Internet of things(IoT)? Or another boom in Space Exploration?

Regarding to the exponential growth of technology. American author and computer scientist Ray Kurzweil said:
