The Moscow authorities will use the blockchain technology in the operation of city services and portals
The authorities of the Russian capital are working to implement blockchain technology in municipal portals and services, identifying as a next step, electronic voting. About it writes "Evening Moscow".
"The blockchain allows to solve the problem with a secret vote. I am sure that in the very near future the blockchain will replace the election commissions", — said the Chairman of the Moscow city Duma Alexey Shaposhnikov.
According to him, despite the fact that none of the state of the blockchain technology in the real election has not yet been used, it will inevitably happen in the future.
"At the preliminary stage, the blockchain can and should be tested for all possible primaries, elections to the youth Parliament and any other ballots," said Shaposhnikov, noting, however, that a complete change of election commissions decisions on the basis of the blockchain is possible in the next 50 years.
As the head of the Moscow city Duma, the capital of the Russian Federation holds leading positions in the world on the use of smart technologies and e-services
"Our capital is among the three cities with the most developed network of electronic services. For example, the capital came in first place on this indicator, as the level of public satisfaction with public services", — said Shaposhnikov.
