INDIGEN (IDG) is a cryptocurrency designed for the indigenous people with primary aim of preserving their culture using blockchain technology. INDIGEN uses a PoW protocol using CryptoNote, a privacy-centered technology. Maximum coin supply is 17,000,000 IDG with 1% pre-mined for development and promotional offers. The circulating supply will be kept very low in order to maintain high demand.
INDIGEN aims to be the first real donation-based cryptocurrency where portion of the mining rewards will be donated to various indigenous groups world wide.
