Humane First Reachout
A few weeks ago we kicked off with our first Project called Humane and our target was to FEED and take 100 children back to school.
What we mean by TAKING BACK TO SCHOOL:
- Our aim was to select 100 outstanding kids who have done excellently well from 100 different government schools that are poorly managed and funded here in Nigeria (We will definitely reach out to other parts of the world gradually). These kids will be taken out of those schools to private schools where the progress of each kid will be tracked and their identity VERIFIED on the EOS Blockchain using IDPASS.
The tuition fees of these 100 kids will be taken care either for a session or till they graduate from their respective universities and the progress of each child will be tracked and submitted on the EOS Blockchain through via our website.
The 100 kids taken off the street school will receive a special Christmas party on the 25th of December.
What we raised and how we intend to use the funds raised.
We were able to raise 502 EOS through donations from different individuals and BPs on the EOS blockchain as seen below.

Since we couldn't raise the amount needed to take 100 kids back to school as intended, we decided to maximize what was donated. 100% of the funds were used for the project and there are still many things we could still do if/when we get more donations.
On the 6th of December which is a few hours from now, we'll be doing our first outreach to a government school in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Over a thousand books ( with ABC OF EOS" at the back of the book), pens, pencils, and bags will be distributed with some light refreshments for the entire school.
