(POS) a Philosophical Operating System
What is your personal position (aka POS)?
The 'operating system' will be the basis by which modern societies form their moral constitution. For every position you hold, on any number of issues, can be publicly displayed.
For example:
Say you use open source web browsers and/or linux as a philosophical moral stance (as a shout out to not letting obscure institutions hold powerful monopolies). In the same way social media can display your job resume, it could also show the bioregional map of the area you subscribe to ecologically and values-ogically. While we're at it, let's put a drop down menu of your ten commandments on the site.
We need self-governing and interdisciplinary focus teams that can call each other out. Discovering what the middle ground between ecological regulations and our collective moral compass looks like.

How big should a monoculture farm be allowed to become with it's chemical experiments? Should unhealthy toxic farming experiments be allowed to sit on your normal grocery stores shelves? Not in my opinion. I've got family that is trapped by economic centralization and government education. Bowing to the status quo of 'laws' that someone else has made is no sign of philosophy or constitution. If we aren't creating the laws publicly and openly, than we have no form of iteration and adoption.
You should equally be able to choose to share your digital constitution, your personal ten (20, 30...?) commandments. Ecological architecture requirements could be subject (and liberated) to a local bioregional forum, both in the digital board room and the urban plaza. To orient a discussion about what is ecologically sane and then what is possible.
What if the amount of time that currently goes into facebook 'activism' was spent at democracy.earth and helping shape local regulations. Our first step towards transitioning to ecological sanity, and drawing the maps of our global bioregional sovereignty (GBS).
Thanks for dropping in for some democratic discussion homies! Below is one of my favorite solutionary books of the year by Martin Adams.
