AdWoo - New Social Network "Game" on Kickstarter. (Discover the world of opportunities)
AdWoo is a Social Multi-Service, which combines many services, technologies and usability methods. Gamification and storytelling form the core, because in our opinion that is the best way to make complex functionalities understandable and intuitive. The whole thing has to be presented in such a way that it works understandable, user-friendly and independent of platforms. That's how the idea of a city came up, which is generated out of dynamically different modules.
When you enter AdWoo City you find yourself in a map consisting of multiple sections and buildings. You can find a visualisation of these sections in the picture below. Each day one AdWoo City is created out of these sections. How come daily? Since sections are positioned on the map by using a special algorithm - this will be explained in detail later.
In sum there are three different types of these sections:
- For Personal/Private Usage/Individuals:
Each user can purchase one or multiple buildings/apartments.
When clicking on one section on the map a window opens where you can add various information about your persona (general information about yourself, your interests, aims, etc.). Additionally you can create your own interior design for separate rooms in your building by using graphic objects. Each of these objects can be linked to a certain function. For example when clicking on the television a certain commercial could be played or there could be a special offer for the television set and you could earn cashpoints for this. Or you could click on a picture frame and predefined pictures could be displayed. There are various options for this and they can all be determined by yourself!
Here is some inspiration for you on how these objects are going to look like and how this will be visualised on your smartphone:
Such an interior design allows you to:
Present information about yourself in a new and original way.
Recommend products and earn cashpoints or even real money for these recommendations.
Create and design multiple rooms only to block some of these rooms or only allow entrance for special people.
And many more
- For Business Purposes:
Examples are business buildings, restaurants, car dealerships, shops etc.
Companies could use different modules to arouse the user’s interest. Commercials, surveys, product recommendations, special discount campaigns and many more. If you for example make use of this you can earn cashpoints again - and also businesses benefit from this behaviour by showing commercials and afterwards generating valuable customer information by conducting surveys.
- System Section:
These sections work like apps we all are familiar with. For example when clicking on “museum” this could be the start of a virtual tour. Or when clicking on the park section a window could open for chatting with everybody who is currently staying in this park area. When clicking on the stadium one could directly buy tickets for a soccer match. For the future it is intended that every user who is interested in this topic can create its own section with certain functions - just like an app. Like this every developer can sort of become a city architect.
But let’s move on. As mentioned earlier the map of AdWoo city is created by using sections like this. This map has in total three different views which you can switch in-between at all times.
Promote Yourself
The more your section is worth - the closer is the city center. Which brings much more attention and clicks on the own section of the user. So how do you increase the value of the sections? By visiting other sections, taking part in surveys, watch commercials, design rooms and so on. For this the user gets Cashpoints which gets him the opportunity to buy a better Ranking on the map. Is that all for what cashpoints can be used? Of course not. Cashpoints allows the user to access others social networks like Facebook or Instagram and call attention to gain more follower or gain likes.
Create your City
This card is designed by the user himself. The user can enter the own hometown as city or the cities where he has been often. Based on his interests sections are generated for the user Immediately. The user can refine the filter settings and leave the only relevant sections for himself. On this card all his friends are also shown, or neither, the user decides.
Discover the World
Here the user can enter which cities he would like to visit soon. For example, one wants to visit New York. For him, a card is generated that corresponds to his interests, tips displayed by other users. There will also be a cool tour function here. Not only the user who wants to visit the tour, but also the one who created the tour should benefit from it. As soon as the airport is built, too cheap flights offered. Hotels, restaurants, bars, museums, secret places - the user gets everything.
