Xaya is a decentralized platform developed for gamers and developers alike. Xaya allows virtual game enthusiasts to play and earn online assets which have real world value. Cryptocurrency has gradually penetrated every aspect of our modern life and the new development of earning coins while playing video game is a big deal. Huntercoin was a proof of concept to develop solutions to the technical challenges and to test

The Huntercoin experiment served its purpose several years ago, and this ‘hobby project’ provided a number of world leading insights into blockchain technology, including publication in the blockchain journal ‘Ledger’.

The XAYA platform builds upon the significant know-how developed across Namecoin and the Huntercoin experiment and will provide a wealth of tools and infrastructure for game developers to build their own game worlds that fit their vision and project. They can fully leverage the XAYA technology to build decentralised games and issue their own game currency that can be traded for ‘CHI’ or other XAYA game coins or assets.

For a successful functioning of the Xaya platform, the team came up with unique innovations that will sustain the project and set the whole concept in the path of longevity and sustainability.

• Atomic transactions: Establishing the 'CHI' currency, Xaya will have a triving economy sustained by the trustless trading of game items on the platform. Also, app devs can build games that has its own currency which can be exchanged for the 'CHI' cryptocurrency. This means CHI will be on the rise as time proceeds.

• Game channels: This is a payment area where all game moves between multiple players are exchanged in Bitcoin.

Collectable card games (also called trading card games) where players will first of all acquire cards into a personal collection from which they create customized decks of cards and challenge other players in the matches. Xaya making use of the blockchain will place store starter decks and other similar cards on the chain making them available for purchase with the 'CHI' token.

Realtime strategy /Multipleplayer Online Battle Arena

Multiple players can connect a single game together in a session and transfer data messages between connected players through Xaya. In the Multiplayer Online Arena, Virtual assets like 'particles' of the characters in the game can be made available for sale. Character parts like boots, shirts, spears, skin and even power ups can be purchased using the 'CHI' cryptocurrency.

Turn Based games

Turn-based strategy such as Chess, Checkers, UFO enemy unknown, etc where players take turns when making moves can be deployed on the Xaya platform. Developers can build their own app untop of the existing Xaya blockchain and create their own coin which can be used to trade for the 'CHI' cryptocurrency.

CONCLUSION

Xaya is a good project and the team behind it has all the well thought out roap map in place for the realization of the project. With the blockchain technology deployed to have games built and played in the most scalable forms, Xaya will become the first platform where game players can actually earn virtual coins which can be traded for real money.
