Large countries such as China and America are leaders in renewable energy investments. This becomes obvious, since the whole civilized world sees a huge problem in obsolete technologies of obtaining energy (oil, gas, coal) that harm the environment.
That is, in the foreseeable future we will see an energy revolution, which we already see in more developed countries.
Another problem is that rich owners - to keep a monopoly - thereby slowing down the transition to renewable energy sources.
But I'm sure that this problem will be solved after some time.

I don't think it's madatory for humans to exsist,. but to pollute our planet and to provide our children and other generations with a liveable planet, transition is necessary!
We now big transition is happening with various mega-projects. The prices are falling hard and this causes that pPrivate Corporations sees opportunities and acts on it. I hope that they also see the importance for humanity in general and not just for their commercial (stakeholders) purposes projects and realization. Growth will continue in the coming years and the expectation is that growrt will be exponential. I also consider taking solar panels in my household. Good for own wallet in the long run but moreover a positive contribution to the environment.

There are many problems related to energy. The main problem is that they negatively affect the earth's atmosphere.
There is a solution - it's renewable energy sources. Many of them know about their existence: they are solar wind energy, the energy of the ocean is hydroelectric power stations. I am sure that such future sources of energy are worth the future.

Well, currently the Fossil energy too much expensive, but I heard, Japan is working on retrieving this energy more easily using waves.
On the other hand, US department of energy has declared to donate $50 million funding opportunity through the Office of Fossil Energy to design, construct, and operate two large-scale pilots for transformational coal technologies.
These technologies improve coal-powered systems’ performance, efficiency, emission reduction, and cost of electricity.
So, I think, within 2020, we will be able to use Fossil energy easily and it will less expensive :)
