Might the Blockchain Outlive Bitcoin?
The Siliconangle team provides interesting assessments for the future of the Bitcoin and the Blockbain for 2017.
Bitcoin:
Although another year (2016) in which the headlines of the establishment press suggested that the Bitcoin will die, it appears that in reality, in 2016 the opposite occurred. Investors from around the world bought Bitcoin and the interest in start-ups associated with Bitcoin grew throughout the year. Much of the interest in Bitcoin was due to the global uncertainty surrounding the usual currencies, from the cancellation of the notes in India to the weakening of the yen against the dollar in China.
Although it is always possible to say that governments will act against Bitcoin As the Chinese government did last month, Bitcoin will not only retain its place as an alternative to the usual currencies, but will probably flourish in the future uncertainties, for example in light of US-Russian relations, cyber wars and terrorist acts spreading across the West.
The Bitcoin value at the end of 2016 was $ 968.04 per bitcoin compared to $460 per bitcoin at the beginning of 2016.
Blockchain:
2016 was excellent for blockchain technology, but 2017 will be different because the development of technology in the various markets is progressing from experimental to actual daily use.
A notable aspect of Blockchain's development in 2016 is the number of markets expecting to use technology such as Governments, financial institutions, retail, trade, shipping and distribution or tracking food from the field to the supermarket, as well as in the field of photography on social media. Even the Chinese bank has recently been interested in BlockChain for developing its own digital currency ...
Most of the projects are in the experimental phase but assuming they succeed, 2017 will be the year when the Blockchain will be part of the mainstream and will begin to dominate the markets in any form and size, especially the financial markets that will use technology for daily transactions and may even reach NASDAQ.
The Bitcoin value exceeded $ 3,000 by about half way of 2017.
