The Launch: 8Ps of Blockchain Technology - Perspectives to Explore Before Jumping to It
Hi everyone!
I'm running a series of episodes that will take a look at the emerging technologies of blockchain based on the model that I have developed. I call this model as the 8Ps of Blockchain Technology --- Problem, Promise, Product, Process, People, Potential, Partnership and Profitability.
Roughly 12 years, I've been working as an Organization Development Technologist and with my experience, I would like to share my views on the current and future potentials of blockchain technology. I'm also managing a design tech company in the Philippines. On the side, I've been investing and trading cryptocurrencies.
In the past months, I've been educating friends and families about the world of blockchain and the normal reaction was “really?’’, “how”, “is that true?”, “that’s a scam”. Every time I tell them about blockchain, the first thing comes to mind is "Bitcoin", or sometimes they don't even know what is Bitcoin. For most people who know bitcoin, they just jump immediately on buying it without understanding the technology behind it. They don't even know that it evolved already. This is the norm in my country and ordinary people just learn about it through mainstream media which gives very superficial information about the technology.
As an advocate of technological change, my goal now is to educate those people who wants to understand the technology before jumping to it. Also, explore the potential of decentralized economy which could bring benefits to society.
I hope you will journey with me in this path. I'm very open in getting your inputs as well, as I share my thoughts. I believe, learning is a give and take process. I know that this may sound basic to some experts, but allow me to share my perspective to those who want to learn more or have interest about this technology.
Every episode, I shall present and analyze blockchain projects that I believe worth looking at. I will use the 8P model as I move along. Episode 1 will start tomorrow. For now, I'm sharing with you the framework that I've made for the awareness process on the blockchain technology.

Hey Cryptowarn, I am a great fan of preparation, not to mention alliteration, therefore consider me in. I have hit the like and will follow and wait for the update. I have recently come to the opinion that I need to get into the right projects earlier and a such I need to be doing my research not so much on the projects that are already in play but rather focus on those that are in the pre ICO stage. Currently my process is pretty similar to yours though perhaps not as organised and methodical. I look forward to learning more about your process. Cheers J

Cool Bananas, I am not that much of a poster as I have only been here for a few weeks and am getting to know the lay of the land ( I am originally from England so if my turn of phrase is ever confusing then please ask me what I mean as I can forget that not everyone is from the Uk and used to our colloquialisms). I am currently living in Tonga so it is 12:30 am here and I am about to crash (go to bed) but I look forward to seeing what you post tomorrow and us chatting. Perhaps the best way to let me know that you have posted (so that I do not miss it) is if you reply on this chain telling me that you have posted then I will see it in my replies. Which project are you thinking of looking at first, then if I get any time I can look at it prior to our conversation / your post so that I am up to speed so to speak.
