Liberland, with the official name “Free Republic of Liberland” is the freeest country on earth and could become the first blockchain country in the world. The nation is planning to build its entire governmental structure on Blockchain technology with decentralized autonomous organizations. The country is based on Libertarian ideology. Taxation in Liberland is completely voluntary. Liberland does not plan to have any official fiat currency, instead, it will use cryptocurrencies.
History of Liberland
Liberland is a sovereign state located between Croatia and Serbia on the west bank of the Danube river. Vít Jedlicka, a Czech politician, took this opportunity and formed a new state in this unclaimed territory, called Liberland on 13 April 2015. Liberland is welcoming people who are not happy with their own democratic system because they are squeezed by their government for taxes and hence they can’t do their business freely, people who feel that they could do better if they don’t have to deal with so many paper works or obstacles they are facing from their government.
Half a million people have already applied for citizenship of Liberland, although citizenship will likely be granted to only a maximum of 5,000 people in the near future.

According to Vit Jedlicka , he will probably be the first and the last president of Liberland. Their constitution says that there will be no more presidents. He wants to step down as soon as the system starts to function seamlessly.
