Great post. I once spoke with kelsoian economist Norman Kurland. His idea of a good future currency is that in the form of units of energy. He thinks that energy could be a great store of value, since it will continue to be used over time. It's hard to say if you will keep your purchasing power though because whos to say if energy will become cheap or expensive over time.
