Hi everyone,

Some of you may have known me for quite some time now. You may also know that my reason for being on Steemit is quite simple: to get to know like-minded people, sharing similar interests towards crypto and blockchain. I believe that knowing the right people within the industry will open many opportunities in the future.

That simply means that, on a daily basis I'm getting to know some valuable people and every now and then I have a chance to get involved in some projects and become part of them. Naturally every now and then I will face the question of “if I could recommend any solid developer who could help launch an ICO”. It has happen a few times and the truth is that I don't know anyone who has any experience in that field.

Currently someone I know is looking for bitshares (or waves) developers who would like to be part of a new adventure :)

To cut a long story short:

If you have any skills in creating and promoting tokens on Bitshares or Waves Platform then please contact me. You can either comment below or email me directly (you can find email in my profile description, but let me repeat it here just in case: [email protected]). Please write "Bitshares/Waves" in your email title.

I would brief you about this project and pass your contact to the right people (assuming you would like the idea of this new ICO).

Thank you, everyone, for your attention :) And sorry for that unusual post.

Cheers,
Piotr

I know a few developers involve with some tokens on bitshares. I'll invite them to this post and hope they are not too busy to take on the project you mentioned or they can recommend their colleagues. Cheers!

Do you know about "layers" to BTS pegging and smart contracts? Also, has the EOS compatibility effort completed?

You've lost me buddy. Sometimes I feel like we're talking in two different languages. Your experience and knowledge are to far ahead of me ...

Oh, I was just asking if anyone new about different token features on BitShares:

User-Issued Assets -regulation-compatible cryptoasset issuance
...a type of custom token...
The creator of such an asset publically names, describes, and distributes its tokens, and can specify customized requirements, such as an approved whitelist of accounts permitted to hold the tokens, or the associated trading and transfer fees.
  • I suppose "layers" is my own key term.
  • tokens on BitShares are pegged to things like fiat currencies through the BTS token (acts like insurance and a standard for the BitShares platform) - ergo, any investor using BitShares can trade whatever custom token for BTS at any given time
  • current EOS "compatibility/support" - I cannot say much specifically with confidence
  • smart contract- generally inexperienced

Can anyone explain if, and/or by how much, the system function (i.e. power consumption operating on the BitShares platform) of a User-Issued Asset can vary from token to token?

Please ask me to clarify anything, it helps me learn about the exciting applications of BitShares and EOS, as well as, what is possible through chaining cryptographically secured digital assets.

Noone answered so far? bubububu ....

I already appreciate @ajongcrypto :)

This helpful at all? It's a review of major platforms (few months old). Mentioned how Waves is best for gaming skins (volatility-free tokens) while BitShares for high-performance smart contracts.

Thank you @machinbirdsparo for that link

I've already quite solid knowledge (theoretical one) on those 2 platforms (partly thanks to you). but I need to find someone with real life experience :)

Cheers
Piotr

There is a lot of sense in your comment and I go with it @machnbirdsparo but I think @crypto.piotr is currently looking for a developer (which I prefer bitshares experienced). Have a nice day buddy!

Well creating tokens on waves and bitshares are easy to do. Doing an ico-what kind? Set price of tokens or smart contracts based(a set of rounds and put Eth and certain tokens get in)? Bc if smart contracts i don't think you can do it.
However in bitshares there is an ico platform here the link:

hi @sames

I believe that you're right. Especially creating your own token on Waves is very easy. But it's always best to work with someone who has experience in launching ICO or organizing pre-sale.

Thank you buddy for your response

ps. are you on telegram? I would love to keep in touch with you closer as I believe knowing each other can benefit both parties in the future

You can find me there as @crypto_piotr or perhaps you could drop me an email: [email protected]

@officialfuzzy @stan could likely direct you in the right direction

hi @allcapsonezero

could you please tell me little bit about @officialfuzzy and @stan ? so I would not start conversation with them being clueless of who they are?

Yours
Piotr

@stan is the 'godfather of bitshares'. He is Dan Larimer's dad and is currently overseeing / head honcho of bitshares.

@officialfuzzy just writes about bitshares every other day and seems to be very connected to the bitshares community.

Wow. thank you @allcapsonezero

Don why you don't have telegram bubub.
What about facebook?

I would love to be able to keep in touch with you closer as I found your knowledge very valuable and I can easily see that working closer together could potentially benefit both of us in the future. Crypto market is full of growing opportunities and knowing right people is a must :)
