RE: Jokes on you Google.

While I agree on most points with you, ads still is what pays for us to have free internet.
Think how popular email or Twitter or whatever would be if it was a small price to pay each month.

That doesn't mean that can't or will not change in the future. Steemit is a good example of a service not only without ads but that can pay for valuable content.

In the meanwhile, ads will be here and big companies will try to fight the adblockers.

There is that advantage that decentralization can give to newborn startups to use microeconomics to sustain a healthy environment without the need of advertisement revenue, an organic growth of those communities is way more efficient than a facebook like model not to speak of the engagement it creates with its users.

I never enjoyed aggressive advertisement I find that Corps are going to have a very big problem in the near future where the Television era will belong in the past( maybe just a couple generations later). They should start getting more creative in this space, probably the best space to innovate as an entrepreneur at this time we live in is that of re-inventing advertisement.

Maybe the next internet will be free of that fault and will generate and distribute wealth to its users to watch advertisements when on demand? Say you are searching for shoes it could ask you to watch and share an advertisement at your social media and get a discount on the product or a reward in some kind of built in token. More or less the way game rewards work, if it makes sense.
