Introduction To DAV Protocol (Peer to Peer Global Transportation Network)

Transportation has over the years remained the only means to transport people and good from one place to another. Today transportation has turned into a big business which has attracted so many people to invest millions of dollars into the industry and as the world population grows rapidly every single day, the industry keeps expanding and more investments keeps coming to the industry.

No doubt today transportation industry is said to worth billions of dollars on annual basis and this figure shows the great opportunity in the transportation industry but the so called opportunity are only opened for the elites or the rich people in the society leaving the average people behind from tapping into the huge business opportunity in the industry. What Is DAV?

DAV is an open source blockchain based platform which will bring together all the players in the transportation industry to buy or sell transportation services.

DAV allow anyone to join the platform with any of their vehicle which could be a car, drone or ship, the platform uses a digital currency which is called DAV token to discover, communicate and make transaction with one another in the platform. The DAV token which is Ethereum based erc20 token will make the platform to offers services in a reduce cost and remove all the middle men involved in the traditional way of making transactions in the transport industry. This alone will benefit all the platform users.

DAV technology been an open-source ecosystem consists of three major components:

• Decentralized Discovery which makes autonomous vehicles, users, and service providers to discover each all on one network

• Communication Protocol: This allows the communication within the DAV ecosystem. it could be on-chain communication which involves triggering smart contract when a condition is meet or it could be an off-chain communication which involves peer-to-peer communication within the platform.

• Trustless Cooperation Tools: This allows smart contract to be issued between buyers and sellers of transportation services using the DAV tokens

Conclusion

DAV platform will open up so many possibility for anyone to tap into the multi-billion transportation industry wealth which was initially been hoarded by some few elites in the industry and as the platform develops in the future I see it becoming the next Uber or probably replacing Uber.
