There is no doubt in my mind that we are in desperate need for improvement in cybersecurity as more and more of the worlds money is held online, managed online and transferred online the more opportunity there is for hackers to extract wealth from it

While blockchain could help I don't think its a one size fits all solutions and we need plenty of cybersecurity protocols both centralised and decentralisd to create layers of protection and make it harder for hackers to exploit without single points of failure
