RepuX - Monetizing Data from Millions of Small Enterprises

Introduction:
Data is one of the essential key resource for companies and projects to be successful. A study from the International Data Corporation (IDC, 2017) predicts, that by 2025, around 160 Zettabytes of data will be created worldwide. This is 7 times more than today's data volume. Link to the Source

Problems:
With the digitalisation of data, data storage, data mining and data usage have become quite easier than before. But with the growth of data in the near future, it especially will be more complicated to find and have access to the relevant data.
SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) generate massive amount of business specific data over the years. But unfortunately most of the data goes to waste, because they are either unused or not used effectively, due to the lack of a use-case and know-how. On the other hand developers, creating apps with data, such as AI Machine Learning Algorithms, are in need of those data.

The Solution:
A currently ongoing project, called "RepuX" has a solution for this problem. RepuX is a decentralized blockchain protocol, that will allow enterprises to sell their data to developers in exchange for RepuX-Tokens. By acquiring the data, developers can create applications (such as customized AI enhanced apps) and can sell them back to the enterprise for RepuX-Tokens. RepuX goal is to improve business processes and unleash the full potential of big data.

• Aims to build a platform to monetize data from SMEs and connects them with developers
• Uses the blockchain for transaction transparency (such as ratings and reputation)
• Sets APIs, allowing developers to build on the Repux protocol
• Develops an architecture for sustainable R&D

• Has agreements with SMEs in China, with a lot more data available

Token-Sale Details:
RepuX is currently doing it's initial coin offering to gather funds for further development and expansion of the team. In exchange for that you can get Repux-Tokens that serve the purpose of buying data or business solutions. My Opinion:
I personally like the project idea of RepuX. Building up a connection between SMEs and and developers can be a benefit for both sides. Data for project/application development on one side and usefull customized applications that help speeding up businesses processes on the other side. With a quite big team and an already working product as well as 3 pilot companies, I think that the RepuX project has a high chance of beeing successful with their project.
