Most of cryptocurrency wallet does not require identity verification in order to send, receive, and securely store your cryptocurrencies.

Verifying your identity is only used to helps prevent fraud and ensures that no one, except you, can use your payment information.
If you just make conversation or interaction with others, in the blockchain environments (like forums or chat rooms), do we also need verification?

As Steemit.com FAQ statement : "Verification is a process where users give evidence to show that they are the person that they claim to be. "

That's clear.

If you claim your self as someone in real life, yes - you have to verify and proof it. If you don't, then you don't have to. As simple as that.

The big idea on blockchain environment is decentralization of everything. So, when someone feels the need to manage the blockchain environment according to what he considers necessary, then the idea has evaporated somewhere. That is called centralization, the opposite word from decentralization.

Especially if someone feels important to identify everyone in a blockchain environment for any reason, it is an extraordinary setback of ideas.

What do you think??
