John McAfee: I don't think governments can stop bitcoin

The head of MGT Capital Investments John McAfee acknowledged that the Chinese authorities are right against the many fraudulent schemes related to ICO, but I am convinced that government regulators can't stop bitcoin. He stated this in an interview CalvinAyre.com.

“The main source of state revenues — income tax. If everybody would use bitcoin, the government will not know what your income is. They will not be able to impose your taxes. If you say that your income is zero, they will not be able to prove otherwise. That's what frightens state regulators, and no law can stop bitcoin. They simply will not be able technically feasible,” said McAfee.

He also stressed that for centuries the authorities and banks robs people of control over their lives, and it's time to change the situation.
