The Block - Loopring, a crypto platform promoting secure wallets, got hacked through a two-factor authentication flaw, leading to a $5 million loss
Loopring, a cryptocurrency platform known for its security features, suffered a hack targeting its two-factor authentication system.
The attacker exploited a flaw in the "Guardian" service, allowing them to steal around $5 million worth of tokens from users who relied on a single guardian for recovery.
Loopring has since disabled the compromised service and is working to identify the culprit.
Beware of two-factor authentication hacks!!
