Altcoin enthusiasts are being warned that the popular new token Dingo has turned out to be a scam designed to charge users a 99% transaction fee.

According to Check Point, developers manipulated the "setTaxFeePercent" feature of the smart contract to add a 95% "tax fee" and a 4% "liquidity fee."

As a result, Dingo tokens are now plummeting, losing 99.8% of their value in the past 24 hours.
