Today, 10 people and two companies linked to ransomware from Iran had their bitcoin wallet addresses blocked by the U.S. Treasury Department.

According to the department, their ransomware attacks have targeted U.S. businesses and organizations since at least 2020.

Ransomware is an attack in which hackers remotely lock a computer and demand payment to unlock it.
