Payments to former Mt Gox users will begin "due course," says the bitcoin exchange, which was hacked and crippled eight years ago.

All creditors will receive a "basic payment," with the remainder received in a lump sum up front or later.

Gox customers have until September 15 to file claims or transfers, after which they may not be processed.
