CryptoSlate - Hotbit shuts down as cyber attacks, crypto crises weaken its operations

According to Hotbit, all operations will cease at 04:00 UTC on May 22, and users are encouraged to withdraw their assets by June 21.

After the past several crypto crises, Hotbit explains, funds continued to flow out of the centralized exchanges.

And as a key catalyst for the downturn, Hotbit cites the August 2022 investigation, along with the collapse of FTX and depeg of USD Coin (USDC).
