Hours after the exploit, Fei Protocol, a stablecoin issuer that merged with cryptocurrency lending startup Rari Capital five months ago, made a plea on Twitter.

The hackers will receive a $10 million reward for returning users' fund.

By exploiting a "reentrancy" bug embedded deep in the protocol code, Rari hackers withdrew collateral and repaid flash loans, but kept the "loan" funds from Rari Fuse.
