Cyber Security in 2018 What is the first step?

If you haven’t been under a rock, you’ll notice that the news headlines lately have given us a reason to realize or false sense of security.

We freely allow people to access our information but we don’t consider how vulnerable that decision can make us in the future.

Companies who have a secure database today, can have a data breach tomorrow; we simply live in a new day and age, where almost nothing is secure.

From stolen intellectual property, & customer data, to businesses shutting down; there certainly is no shortage of vulnerable points that we have created for ourselves through careless actions!

For years security has been looked at as a cost or Expense to the business, not only that, but the steps that the business would have to take without knowing why, would seemingly hinder operational progress as well from their limited perspective.

However in 2018 it has become clear that cybersecurity is the deciding factor that dictates the existence of your business in the future.

Notice I didn’t say whether or not your business will be successful, I said whether or not it will even exist!
