BlockCAT Analysis ($CAT)
The following is not financial advice.
Welcome to back The Scoop!
This is the next post at a place where we share analysis and opinions for interesting coins, tokens and pure gems in the vast landscape of the blockchain world. There's so many coins out there, but not a lot of free information (looking at you, paid groups) and analysis on them. The Scoop aims to change that by sharing and improving the data available for a given coin by focusing on evaluating instead of predicting.
What is BlockCAT?
It's "Smart Contracts for Everybody" as they say. CAT (Complex Automated Transactions) is a platform to make it easy to create and deploy contracts. No programming experience required. CAT tokens are used on the platform to fuel contract deployment and verifying third party marketplace contracts.

Marketcap and Competitors?
~22m with ~150k volume daily. That's a juicy cap!
Similar projects or target industry...
- Stratis ($STRAT) -> ~1.5b
- Agrello ($DLT) -> ~81m
How is CAT different?
Besides the excellent ticker? It's actually trying to do something that one can see will be around in the future. The biggest barrier to entry into the Ethereum side of crypto is you must have some technical expertise to properly write a smart contract. If BlockCAT makes it simply enough for anyone to use.. watch out.
Pros
- actual product
- clear vision
- active dev
- solid roadmap
- it makes sense
- great team
Cons
- marketing
- needs adoption
Any constructive criticism?
Delivering on the roadmap items earlier than expected would definitely be a plus. We all know great projects take time, but one doesn't want to wait for competition to gain foothold. 2018 is an important year for the 'CATs.
Where is it traded?
Today, Cryptopia sees most of the volume. But, an (unconfirmed, and blog content is no longer there, if it ever was) little birdy says it may get more volume soon...
And remember, the ticker is BKCAT on 'topia.

The Final
Based on the FA, CAT looks like a low to medium risk with high reward potential if they continue to deliver and catch on. Picking it up under 25k sats would be bargain or around $4 - $5 would be an upper entry while still expecting solid, crypto-style gains.
And that's your scoop!
I absolutely agree, this is a sleeping giant..a rare gem..whatever you call it.. this is still not in the public eye because of lack of promotion and marketing. However, I like the fact that they are trying to build a solid product, have recently added a lawyer to their team, considering legal execution of smart contracts etc..
This is definitely a juicy market cap and a Multi-bagger! Hodl on!
Cheers!
