The long-awaited sequel to Black Panther is imminent
Almost every Marvel movie is a big event, but Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is another. The original Black Panther was not only a box office revenue and the first Academy Award-nominated superhero movie, but also a true cultural phenomenon. All of this makes the long-awaited Black Panther sequel even more exciting.
Marvel's 2022 is already packed with Moon Knight, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Ms. Marvel, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. It will be icing. But can it be as successful as the first movie?
While we are in a mission to get answers to that question, here is everything we know thus far about Black Panther: Wakanda Frover.
{When Is The Release Date Of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever?}
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever releases in film theaters on November 11. This makes it the 0.33 new Marvel Cinematic Universe film to pop out in 2022, following Doctor Strange withinside the Multiverse of Madness on May 6 and Thor: Love and Thunder on July 8.
{What Is The Plot Of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever?}
Not surprisingly, the official log line hasn't been released yet, so Marvel is characteristically silent about all the details of the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever story line. However, it's easy to summarize when you last saw these characters. Mandatory spoiler alert.
At Black Panther 2018, T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) decided to open Wakanda to the world after defeating Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan). This, in part, led to the Avengers: Infinity War event. There, Wakanda acted as a battlefield for the heroes of the Earth and the Thanos army. As is well known, when Thanos wipes out half of the cosmic population, including T'Challa and Shuri (Letita Wright), the strongest heroes on Earth will
In The Avengers: Endgame, Okoye (Danai Gurira) is the de facto leader in Wakanda. It is said that an earthquake has occurred on the seabed, but it is not very noticeable. When the Avengers rematch with Thanos, their plan to bring back everyone who was struck by previous films, including T'Challa and Shuri, works. The last time I saw the main character of Black Panther, I celebrated the victory of the Earth at the end of
That is, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever's plots and potential villains can go almost anywhere (although fans have the theory of underwater tremors spoken by Okoye). We can speculate that part of the story deals with someone else who hijacked the Black Panther mantle after Chadwick Boseman died in 2020.
{Who will be The Next Black Panther?}
Due to Boseman's tragic death, someone else has to hire himself as the famous character of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. So who will it be?
So far, there are only rumors. While Letita Wright's Shuri and Winston Duke's M'Baku were considered two favorites, Lupita Nyong'o's Nakia could also be a successor. You have to keep guessing until you get the first footage or Marvel makes an official announcement.
{Who Are The Casts in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever?}
Many of the original Black Panther casts are back in the sequel. These include the aforementioned Letitalite, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyongo and Danai Gurira. Other well-known faces to appear include Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross, Angela Bassett as Queen Ramonda, and Florence Cassamba as Ayo. Some leaks seem to confirm that Daniel Kaluuya's W'Kabi is also back in the franchise.
Meanwhile, the Black Panther cast has exciting new members. Especially Tenoch Huerta and Michaela Coel. Huerta is probably Narcos: best known for his role in Mexico, but Cole is an award-winning actor and creator of the series I MayDestroyYou. It is not yet clear what role both play.
{Is There a Trailer For Black Panther: Wakanda Forever}
No, we are still waiting for the first trailer of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. If the trend helps, it's more likely to appear around Thor: Love and Thunder. Marvel tends to like it when one Marvel movie bleeds into another.
