Here's the thing.

You start something off with every intention of building a legacy and giving people something to be thrilled and entertained by and what happens? You get vacation, leave the confines of your 9-2-5, your comfy abode, your everyday stresses and drivers...and well...end up spending a couple of weeks on a mediterranean beach, sunning and funning, and you forget. You forget to read and when you forget to read, you also forget to write!

So, my apologies for leaving you without dope content for so long. I have a corresponding Twitter @bo0giedown for pint sized reviews, but even that was difficult to keep going after taking a break. It's the first break where I did just that - broke from convention and unplugged - highly recommended!

In my time off so much has happened. We have a brand new arc and direction for everyone's favourite nero, feline superior, king, which we'll explore below. Our favourite feminine, black eye-patch wearing, luck generating mutant is kicking ballistics. And finally a legendary avian man, finally flies the coop in his own book illustrated by a legendary British penman. These will definitely be receiving the #Bo0gieReview treatment, but let's get this thing started once more.

Black Panther: The Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda (#SpoilerFree)

Yes you've read right. Our erstwhile T'Challa has found himself not only in space, but awoken on a prison colony with no recollection of what brought him there, save for recurring dreams of Ororo Munroe, calling him back to her...

...and that's it, essentially.

Royalty wears a new intergalactic crown

The story begins to gain both traction and momentum, when T'Challa's inherent royalty prevents him from being in the presence of and privy to injustices he experiences whilst surviving as an intergalactic inmate, and some action, acrobatics and arse-kicking, kicks off. (Yes aRse and not ass - we mean it when we say it in Britain).

Whilst the final panel looks like a spoiler, it's far from it. The precipice that the issue closes on, leaves you with far more questions than it should and a sopping wet patch of anticipation!!

I for one am happy to see people of colour in space.
